  • Eliminate plastic straws (good paper ones are available now).

  • Do not place single-use containers of condiments in every to-go order. Instead, ask customer which ones they would like.

  • Eliminate Styrofoam to-go containers for paper, cardboard, or biodegradable ones that are available.

  • Eliminate single-use plastic cups in favor of paper or reusable.

  • Place to-go orders in boxes or paper bags - eliminate plastic bags.

  • Eliminate plastic utensils - compostable biodegradable ones exist and don’t cost that much more.

  • Use electric appliance where possible, LED lighting, high EER HVAC, conserve water.

  • Utilize sustainable protein sources.
